This One's For The Girls

Friendships are important, y'all.

That's it. That's the point of this post.

Surrounding yourself with wise, humble, driven, faithful, encouraging and loving people is what gets us through this crazy life.

Four years ago, the five of us decided to dedicate one weekend every year to a girl's trip + half marathon. We've knocked out the Disney Princess Half, Steamboat Springs Half, Seaside Half and a 10K trail run in Texas.

It is one of my favorite weekends of the year. I may not see them as often as I want, but their friendships remain a stable and important part of my life.
